“Spring Blooms on Locke

24 April 2003: Spring is blooming on Locke Street
and to celebrate, local merchants will host events throughout the
day in support of McMaster Children's Hospital. It all takes place
Saturday April 26, 2003 from 8AM to 11PM.
Merchants displaying the “Spring Blooms on Locke Street”
poster are donating a percentage of their day's sales to support
McMaster Children's Hospital.
Events will be held at different businesses throughout the day
from 8 AM to 11 PM, including:
- Appearance by Leroy the Lion, the official mascot for the 2003
Smiles Campaign
- Demonstrations by HGTV's "Gardening Gamble" with John
Bowmeister
- Demonstrations by WNetworks "The Decorating Challenge"
with Jennifer Sanginese
